Bees are dying everywhere.

It’s a problem.

No bees…no food.

Likely one of those big problems that we ought to pay attention to…before it is too late.

But why are they dying?  Cell towers, pesticides…sure.

Why are we dying?  Cancer, heart disease, obesity, diabetes…the list goes on.

And what have we found to be a huge piece to this puzzle?  Everyday there is more and more evidence that eating healthy, plant based food is giving ourselves the best chances to treat and even reverse so many of the ailments that plague us.  It is healthy and natural for us to eat this way.  It is what we need to thrive.

So it is any wonder then…if we feed bees sugar water…they aren’t going to be living optimally?  They are going to be less likely to be able to deal with all the issues that confront them in their little Bee lives?  Wouldn’t it make sense to let them

…EAT THE FOOD THAT THEY WORK SO HARD FOR

…SO THEY CAN NOURISH THEMSELVES AND THRIVE!

THAT HONEY DOES NOT BELONG TO US!  IT BELONGS TO THEM!

WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO STEAL IT FROM THEM!

Feeding them sugar water instead of their natural diet is exactly like feeding yourself McDonald’s and expecting to live and have a normal life.  Have we seriously not learned anything yet about junk food?   How can we turn a blind eye to this?

Yes…honey has amazing medicinal properties and yes, it tastes amazing.  But we are killing our food supply by not respecting that those Bees need the food that they make for themselves.  As usual, we take more than we need and it has devastating effects on the planet…kind of like the oceans and how over-fishing is destroying them too.

We have to give them their best chance!

We have to leave the honey off our plates.

What needs to happen for us to pay attention?

How bad does it have to get?

How much do we need to lose?

We can’t wait for ‘them’ to fix it.  They won’t.  ‘They’ are the ones creating the problem.  It is up to us.  We have to do this.

I am only one, but I am still one.

I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.

And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
